With Mission: Yozakura Family heading to Disney+, the series s other anime like Sand Land: The Series for the Spring 2024 season. Mission: Yozakura Family also follows Ishura, Bleach, and more in Disney’s growing anime catalog.
Some fans will naturally voice disappointment at Disney’s acquisition of the series, with many feeling that past anime have proven difficult to access or have been underpromoted. Heavenly Delusion (Tengoku Daimakyo) – which finished second in Anime Corner’s Sci-Fi Anime of the Year award – is one of the most cited examples.
Mission: Yozakura Family will be animated by Silver Link, and adapts Hitsuji Gondaira’s manga of the same name, currently published in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump.
