The WANDANCE anime adaptation announced new voice cast additions ahead of its October 2025 premiere. The animation is being handled by studios MADHOUSE and CYCLONE GRAPHICS. The anime was announced in August, and it will have Rie Hata (also known as the “Queen of Swag”) as a dance producer.
As previously announced, the anime will stream exclusively on Disney+ (Disney Plus). The newest additions to the voice cast include:
- Ayaka Suwa as On Miyao
- Toshiki Masuda as Iori Itsukushima
- Yuma Uchida as Gaku Kabeya
- Yu Hayashi as Usen Takumi
- Chikahiro Kobayashi as Assay
They the previously announced main voice cast:
- Koki Uchiyama as Kaboku Kotani
- Hina Yomiya as Hikari Wanda
Originally serialized in Monthly Afternoon since January 2019, WANDANCE is written and illustrated by Coffee. Kodansha USA publishes the manga in English. The story follows Kaboku Kotani, a reserved high school student who struggles with a stutter and prefers to avoid attention. His life takes a major turn when he meets classmate Hikari Wanda, whose ion for dance inspires him to step outside of his comfort zone. Motivated by her confidence, Kaboku s the school’s dance club himself, discovering a whole new world.
