Slam Dunk movie is coming in the Fall of 2022, the official website for the movie revealed today. A teaser PV that features the names of the staff who worked on the project was also revealed. 29215w
In the promotional video, you can see the of the Shohoku High School Basketball Club forming a circle while wearing their uniforms. As we previously mentioned, the staff credits are visible in the video. Takehiko Inoue, the original creator, will be directing and writing the script for the film. Toei Animation, a studio that worked on the original series, is also animating the movie.
Slam Dunk is a sports comedy manga from the Weekly Shounen Jump. It started publishing on September 18, 1990 and ended on June 4, 1996. It had a total of 31 volumes and 276 chapters. The manga won the 40th Shogakukan Manga Award for best shounen manga in 1994. The anime adaptation by Toei Animation premiered on October 1, 1993, and had a total of 101 episodes. In addition to the main anime series, the franchise also spawned 4 movies.
