Netflix has released the first trailer of their new live-action series, Avatar: The Last Airbender, during Geeked Week 2023. Avatar: The Last Airbender Live Action is based on Nickelodeon’s award-winning animated series of the same name. The video features many of the beloved characters from the animated series including Aang, Katara, Zuko, Soka, and Appa. Avatar: The Last Airbender is an award-winning Nickelodeon animated series that aired in February 2005. Since then the series has grown into a franchise and has inspired many media works including its sequel, The Legend of Korra. Nicheklodeon summarized the series as:
