Goblin Slayer Season 2 unveiled a character visual for Priestess, one of Goblin Slayer’s closest allies. Yui Ogura voices the character in the anime. The second season will premiere later this year. Studio LIDENFILMS is animating it. 6x25u
A short video accompanying the visual was also unveiled, just like Goblin Slayer’s visual last week.
Goblin Slayer anime is based on the light novel series written by Kumo Kagyu and illustrated by Noboru Kannatuki. The light novel features a slew of characters, none of which have personal names. The titular protagonist is known as Goblin Slayer and rarely takes off his helmet. WHITE FOX animated the first season which aired in the Fall 2018 anime season. Goblin Slayer: Goblin’s Crown sequel movie followed in 2020. A manga adaptation by Kousuke Kurose is also ongoing.
Yen Press is publishing both the light novel and manga series in English and describes the plot as:
A young priestess has formed her first adventuring party, but almost immediately they find themselves in distress.
